HUSEIN ALIĆAJIĆ -- Founder / Director

Husein Alićajić is an Australian writer and director renowned for his visual storytelling. Born in Sydney to Bosnian and Scottish parents, Husein attained degrees in Economics, Philosophy and Communications before deciding to follow his talents as a filmmaker. His short film Beginnings won the Dendy Award for best short film at the Sydney Film Festival along with AACTA, SPAA and IF nominations, and he won the IF award for best unproduced screenplay for his script Divine Shadows. Husein has been honored at Cannes, New York Festivals, Clio, AWARD, Ciclope, and four of the last five years by the Australian Director’s Guild, winning Best Direction in an Online Drama Series in 2020 for the pilot episode of his series ONE SIDED.. Alongside his commercial and film work, Husein’s video installations have screened at TEDx and at the Museum of Contemporary Art as part of Sydney’s VIVID Festival.
